I want to introduce Delroy Allen, a man I’ve known and loved for 35 years.
Delroy built a boutique hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica on the plot of land where he grew up in a small shack with his parents and siblings. He walked to school bare foot back then.
Now he’s transformed his childhood home into ‘Takuma’ — a Jamaican oasis for renewal, connection, community, sustainability, and local culture.
Peace, silence and smiles are cultivated by the love at Takuma.

For the last five years, Delroy has been asking me to bring a highly personalized, immersive Shift Therapy® retreat to Takuma.
