Start Here — Your Year of Presence
The simplest path into The Presence Shift
If you’re new here, this page is the clearest path into the Year of Presence — Foundation first, then the introductory shifts, then the weekly rhythm.
Hello friend,
If you’re new here, this is the best place to begin.
The Year of Presence is a guided, science-based training in returning to presence through five Inner Steps that become more familiar the more you practice them:
Answer → Intend → Focus → Flow → Begin
You do not need to understand everything before you start.
You only need a clear first step.
This page gives you that path.
And you can begin anytime throughout the year.
1. Run the Foundation Training Run in the app
It takes about five minutes and teaches the full rhythm once, clearly.
Your first run continues automatically so your nervous system can feel the structure all the way through.
→ Begin the free Foundation Training Run
Both teach the same five Inner Steps.
Both are strong places to begin.
2. Watch the short introduction
After you’ve done Foundation at least once, the next best step is the short introduction to the larger arc of the work.
It will help you understand:
why I created The Presence Shift
how the five Inner Steps work across real-life patterns
how to move through the Year of Presence from here
→ Watch the Introduction to the Year of Presence
3. Move through the Three Introductory Presence Shifts
After Foundation and the introduction, move through the Three Introductory Presence Shifts.
They help you understand the work from different angles and feel at home with the ritual before you settle into the weekly rhythm.
See One
A long-form “see it and feel it” experience: part story, part guided practice.
→ See One
Do One
A guided shift through one of your own repetitive emotional patterns using the five Inner Steps.
→ Do One
Live One
A practice in using a Presence Shift inside the flow of your real day and carrying presence into the next hour of your life.
→ Live One
4. Settle into the weekly rhythm
Once you’ve completed Foundation and the introductory path, settle into the ongoing rhythm of the Year of Presence.
That rhythm is simple:
Sunday — the full weekly Presence Shift
Wednesday — a shorter reset or companion reflection
Over time, more of the app will also open in stages — including:
weekly guided app rituals
the growing Choose a Presence Shift library
→ Go to the latest Presence Shift
5. Free and paid
As a free subscriber, you can:
begin with Foundation
watch the introduction
access selected introductory and weekly materials
read public reflections and updates
use the free Foundation Training Run in the app
As a paid subscriber, you also receive:

access to the growing Choose a Presence Shift library as it opens
full video rituals
deeper archive access
a more direct way to practice in real-life moments
Begin now
Take one slow breath.
And silently say:
I fully intend to live with more presence this year.
Pause to let that land.
